Billy Bets weekend angles

Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham – Friday 27th October
Tottenham over 17.5 tackles & Crystal Palace over 18.5 tackles – 2.1 @ Bet365
Tottenham over 19.5 tackles & Crystal Palace over 20.5 tackles – 3.4 @ Bet365

Tottenham average 19.9 tackles per match while Crystal Palace opponents average 20.4, and that’s with Newcastle only having 8 last match as they ran our comfortable winners. Crystal Palace themselves average 20 per match and are the highest side for tackles won in the league. Tottenham opponents average 21 per match, and that is the second highest stat of opponent tackles won in the league.

Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham – Friday 27th October
Tyrick Mitchell over 1.5 tackles & Pedro Porro over 1.5 tackles – 1.83 @ Bet365
Jefferson Lerma & Joel Ward both to commit 1+ fouls – 1.83 @ Bet365
Tyrick Mitchell over 1.5 tackles, Pedro Porro over 1.5 tackles, Jefferson Lerma over 0.5 fouls & Joel Ward over 0.5 fouls – 3.75 @ Bet365

Tyrick Mitchell has won 2 or more tackles in 7/11 and is complemented by the opposition LB seeing 2+ tackles in 6/9 Tottenham matches. Pedro Porro is (unexpectedly perhaps) seeing lot of first team action under Ange Postecoglou and has managed 2+ tackles in 7/8 (3+ in 5/8), Crystal Palace opponent RB has seen 2+ in 6/10. Joel Ward has fouled at least once in 5/8 matches and the opposing right back to Tottenham has committed a foul in 8/9. Jefferson Lerma made three fouls in his last outing and has committed 1+ foul in 4/6, and is further complemented by Tottenham opposing midfielders committing 1+ foul in 8/9 matches.

Chelsea vs. Brentford – Saturday 28th October
Yoane Wissa over 1.5 shots & Brentford over 7.5 shots – 2.1 @ Bet365

Brentford have had 11+ shots in every league game this season, while Chelsea have conceded 11 or more shots at home in all but one home match this season. In the absence of their star striker Ivan Toney, Yoane Wissa has had 2 or more shots in all matches bar one this season – only failing against Everton with 1 shot.

Bournemouth vs. Burnley – Saturday 28th October
Max Aarons 1+ foul & 2+ tackles – 2.1 @ Skybet
Max Aarons 1+ fouls & 3+ tackles – 3.75 @ Skybet

Aarons 1+ foul in 7/9 games. Opposition RB v Burnley have 1+ foul in every game this season. Aarons has had 2+ tackles in 4/9 games. 2 of those he managed 4 and 6 tackles so can hit good numbers. Admittedly it’s not a great tackle record but the reason I’m interested is in Burney opposition RB. This season they’ve had 2+ tackles in 8/9 games only failing with Kyle Walker on the opening game of the season.

Ryan Walsh’s weekend angles

Leeds vs. Huddersfield – Saturday 28th October
Crysencio Summerville over 2.5 shots & over 0.5 shots on target – 1.70 @ Bet365

Only 2 teams in the championship average more shots per game than Leeds this season, which includes their poor start to the season. Summerville is averaging 3.5 shots per game so isn’t afraid to pull the trigger. After only playing 20 mins midweek, he will be ready to go and should get pretty close to the full 90 mins. He is also averaging 1.2 SoT per game. After scoring a brace in last week’s game, he should be playing full of confidence.

Chelsea vs. Brentford – Saturday 28th October
Enzo Fernandez & Bryan Mbeumo both to commit 1+ fouls – 2.30 @ Bet365

This one is quite simple, Brentford will look to press from the front and get after this Chelsea team as they do against most opposition. Mbuemo is averaging at least 1 foul per game and isn’t considered a sub risk. Brentford will look to crowd the midfield by deploying 3 central players to put pressure on Chelsea’s midfield. With Enzo dropping deeper in recent weeks to see more of the ball, expect him to get involved in the scrappy duels in the middle of the park. Likely to pick up a foul or 2.

Stuttgart vs. Hoffenheim – Saturday 28th October
Over 2.5 goals & Both teams to score – 1.72 @ Bet365

Stuttgart come into this fixture in 2nd place after a fantastic start to the season. With 25 goals so far this season, only Bayern have scored more in the league. No team has scored more home goals than Stuttgart this season in Germany. Remarkably, the same can be said with Hoffenheims away record. With 11 goals scored this season while playing away, no team in the league has more. Expect attacking football throughout the game and will be quite the spectacle.

IceTips weekend angles

Girona vs. Celta Vigo – Friday 27th October
Girona win & over 1 goal – 2.0 @ Bet365 (You can get higher elsewhere but do take the Early payout on Bet365)

Girona are absolutely lighting up La Liga so far and find themselves second in the league after 10 matches having won 8, drawn 1 and lost 1. There has been a large number of goals in their matches as well and there has been two or more goals in 8 of those. Opponents Celta Vigo are experiencing different fortunes, sitting third from bottom win only one match won. Girona has only lost points against Real Madrid (loss) and Real Sociedad (draw) and last weekend they hammered another bottom feeder, Almería, 5-2 after conceding two goals early on. At home, Girona has won 4/5 and seen 2 or more goals in 4/5. Had them on my shortlist last weekend for -1 AH but prices were slashed as the match drew closer.

Bochum vs. Mainz – Friday 27th October
Over 2.5 goal line  – 1.86 @ Bet365

Two sides that just can’t buy a win or keep a clean sheet in the league face each other at the Ruhrstadion in a bid for some much needed points to lift themselves a bit from the bottom. Combined percentage of 3 or more goals per match are 75% (Bochum 5/8, Mainz 7/8). Bochum has scored in all home matches (3/3) and Mainz has scored in 3/4 away matches (3+ goals in all of those). I’m drawn to this one due to the astonishing figures of goals against both sides and vast number of goals come from open play. Bochum take on average 14.6 shots per match, Mainz 12.8 per match so I’m expecting both sides to take their chances in this match.

Sassulo vs. Bologna – Saturday 28th October
Over 9.0 asian corners – 1.825 @ Bet365

At this point, Sassuolo is the best side in Serie A for corners. The average Sassuolo match sees 11.78 corners (themselves 6.0, opponents 5.78) and they’ve seen at least 9 corners in 8/9 – 14, 16, 11, 11, 9, 14, 11, 8, 12- the instances of Sassuolo home matches seeing 9 or more corners is 5/5. Bologna’s average is 9.33 (4.11 themselves, opponents 5.22) and while they’ve seen 9 or more corners in 5/9, their average consists of numbers not too skewed around the magic 9 – 9, 8, 7, 7, 10, 12, 8, 14, 9 and therefore I’ll take this on with the possibility of a refund.

Monza vs. Udinese – Sunday 29th October
Patrick Ciurria over 1.5 shots – 2.2 @ Bet365

Ciurria plays wingback for Monza and doesn’t mind taking a shot from distance or two. Looking at Monza’s current squad, Ciurria is on average the best player in the squad (well, tied with Gagliardini who’s played one match more) for shots per match, with an average of 2.1 per match. In the eight matches he’s played, he’s taken 1, 2, 2, 2, 4, 0, 4, 2, landing this line is 6/8. While the current shot record might be more encouraging with a 75% success rate, Monza average 14.56 shots per match, which is better at home, or 17.56 per match – 20, 25, 10, 16. Udinese concede 11.89 shots per match on average, which rockets up to 15 conceded away from home (9, 10, 23, 18)
